FotoSwipe

FotoSwipe is an Android application that allows you to transfer files between devices. You can copy documents, photos, archives and other types of files. It is the official mobile client of the popular service of the same name.

Requirements

To access the functionality, a copy of the program must also be running on another device. The function of data transfer to a PC is supported - for this purpose, you need to launch the web version of the platform.

File transfer

To send files, the infrastructure of a cellular operator or a local Wi-Fi network is used. In the latter case, the speed will be noticeably higher. Both devices should function within the same local network. You may also need to activate the GPS module. After opening the program, the main menu is displayed, which contains the following items:

• sending files to PC;
• accept and send files;
• deleting files;
• data transfer.

To start the process, you need to place both devices in close proximity and launch the program. Next, use the built-in file manager to select content to send. A swipe is used to confirm the transfer. When working through the web version, you just need to press the "Send" button to confirm. In both cases, the second device must explicitly confirm its readiness to accept the files by entering a pairing code. If the transfer is large, the process may take some time and a notification will be displayed when it is complete.

Menu

The main menu allows you to customize the sharing mode, as well as invite friends to connect to the service. In the parameters you can allow access only via Wi-Fi to save traffic, specify the visibility mode of the mobile device, as well as change the interface language.
