Note that there is a function to create a photo directly from the interface. In addition, you need to perform a few auxiliary actions, which will be mentioned below.

Features

The service, designed for the Android operating system, uses a unique machine learning technology. Due to such an algorithm, the application is regularly developed, thanks to which it identifies plants more and more accurately and quickly. In addition to the latter, the software also recognizes flowers, trees and mushrooms. In case of successful identification, you will be shown the name of the flora representative in Latin. In addition, you will receive information regarding its family, division, domain, class, genus and range. There are pictures for certain plants in the client. It is worth noting that anyone can send an image to this repository. Before enabling the identification option, you need to manually select a mushroom cap, flower or other object that interests you using a special frame. The special frame is allowed to move and zoom in/out using gestures.

Flaws

According to some users, PlantSnap has 2 main disadvantages. The first disadvantage is the lack of a Russian version. That is, all the information available to you is only in English. The second drawback is the problems related to the accuracy of recognition. Despite the fact that the program systematically pumps itself, according to the results of tests, it managed to guess only 60% of plants.
