DonorSearch

DonorSearch is a mobile software designed for people who donate blood on a voluntary basis. The client is developed and implemented by one of the largest donor communities in CIS countries - DonorSearch.org portal. Using it, the user gets access to a personal account in a round-the-clock mode, as well as the ability to make a donation schedule. The application has an extremely minimalistic graphical shell and is compatible with all current versions of Android OS. The DonorSearch app is a great way for donors to stay in touch with the world around them.

Registration process

Before you start working with the mobile software, you need to create an account:

• enter personal information;
• upload an avatar;
• fill in a virtual medical card. Here you will need to enter information about blood type, Rh factor, diseases suffered, average BP values and so on. On average, it takes about 10-15 minutes to fill out a personal card.

Donation planning

After the registration process, the user has access to information about which medical facilities require blood. It is also possible to make an application for donation, and then wait until it is approved by the moderator. Information about the city's medical centers and their contact information can be found in the corresponding section of the side menu. According to the information received from users, the disadvantages of the software can be considered:

• long waiting times for the moderator's response when submitting a donation request;
• general "crudeness" of the development. This is expressed in the fact that it is better to use the web-version for registration.
