mydlink

mydlink is an official mobile application for Android phones and tablets. This application is designed for controlling smart home systems. It interacts with video cameras and provides the ability to remotely control the recording using a smartphone. The utility gives the user access to a resource with the same name to manage home automation based on D-Link devices.

Registration and Requirements

Using the program requires an account on the service, as well as adding existing D-Link devices by scanning their QR codes. A list of compatible cameras is stored inside the app in a separate tab, and it's worth considering that mydlink Home devices are not supported.

Features

The main menu provides access to the main functions of the utility. The user selects scenes that define the behavior of smart devices in different situations, such as being at home, absence and sleep mode. According to the selected mode, cameras and lights can be turned on or off. The app also allows you to set a schedule of operation according to a set schedule and has an automatic mode. Thanks to integration with Google Assistant and Alexa program is able to control not only cameras, but also other smart home systems.

Additional options, such as recording information from cameras to remote storage, are available for a fee through a subscription. From the cloud, you can view video recordings with the ability to filter by date, event, device type, and location.
