Reicast

Reicast is an application for Android mobile devices, which is an emulator of the Sega Dreamcast console. This powerful application allows you to run most of the games developed for this legendary console. It is important to note that for smooth operation of the application requires at least 1512 megabytes of RAM and a dual-core processor.

Customization

Having installed the emulator, you should create a folder in the root directory "data" and copy the BIOS files from the console into it. Please note that games are not included in the application and must be purchased separately. The application is capable of working with game images in GDI, CHD and CDI formats.

Launching games

Once launched, the application automatically detects games stored in the memory of your mobile device. You can easily select the desired image and start emulation. You can control the game using the on-screen joystick or by connecting a gamepad. Various screen orientation and resolution settings are provided for optimal user comfort. Among other things, Reicast allows you to customize the quality of textures and the level of detail of objects in games. To monitor the performance of the emulator during the game, you have the option to enable the display of FPS values on the screen. The app also features a save emulator state function, allowing you to pick up the game from where you last left off.
