Samsung Link is a program for "streaming" (broadcasting) video and music to devices from this manufacturer. The software provides transmission and management of content on a remote device using the DLNA standard, simply put, over a local network.

Functionality

Samsung Link is a simple assistant that comes in handy for streaming multimedia content from your computer to third-party devices such as a TV or tablet. The graphical interface of the program is created simply and is suitable for beginners. To synchronize your devices, connect them to a Wi-Fi network and register the program. Using an unregistered profile, you will encounter a number of limitations in the operation of the software. The utility works only through the network. All functions of the utility run over a wireless network. Before using Samsung Link, be sure to connect to your home Internet network, because in offline mode the functionality of the software is not much limited. In the program, you can transfer information of different types - sound files, video clips and pictures. Stream media content to your TV from your computer, without USB cable connections. Samsung Link provides file sharing via an FTP server. To do this, move data to a special folder that is created automatically. If needed, you can put content into these network folders (maximum of ten storages). With the display of shared files is not so simple - files that are added from different sources are displayed in a common list. The software does not support content separation by class, additional folders, or sorting by special parameters.

Important

In past versions of Samsung Link, there is cloud support for storing data and quickly accessing it from all devices. There is no cloud access on the new version, but users who registered previously have not lost their data.
