Microsoft Health is a program for the Android platform that allows you to synchronize branded fitness bracelets. You can not only track basic parameters, but also analyze them.

Declared functionality

Developed a client for tracking information from Microsoft Band, the collected information is automatically sent to the cloud catalog Health Dashboard. Through the application you can track all the parameters available to the bracelet - the number of steps, heart rate, sleep mode, calories spent and much more. The application accumulates information and displays it in a convenient form, actively using charts and graphs. A separate section is dedicated to motivation for adopting a healthy lifestyle. This is done by adding goals, planning routes for jogging with control by means of a GPS module. For most sports activities, statistics collection is available. Feedback is implemented. The fitness bracelet can broadcast notifications from a smartphone. Voice control can be used to quickly create new events in the calendar and short notes.

Testing

In 2019, the corporation officially ended support for the bracelets. They remained functional and perform all the declared functions, but the ability to interact with the Health Dashboard storage is no longer available. At the same time, official support for the Microsoft Health program, which served as an intermediate link of the entire infrastructure, was terminated. After the above changes in the network began to appear complaints from users - the application periodically minimized without an external command.
