Lexia

A software product used for diagnostics of Citroen and Peugeot cars. The application requires a "proprietary" dongle for operation. It is the official software for diagnostic operations with Citroen cars using the adapter of the same brand. Additionally, the software product can be used for diagnostic operations with separate series of Peugeot brand. Unfortunately, there is no exact list of compatible models. The software product has been used on the car repair market for a long time. Therefore, it does not always work adequately on computers equipped with the latest models of operating systems. Even on the seventh version of Windows there are interruptions, on the tenth version it can be launched.

Workability

Along with other software tools used for diagnostics, it reads information from the electronic control of car components. Before starting the diagnostics, the application displays the basic data of the car: VIN code, engine and its type, chassis and its number data, body type. Then it offers to mark OPR numbers and select the diagnostic option: "Global testing", "Functional testing" and "Equipment". The recommended global testing option is used. According to it the application reads BSI data, makes a list of registration of erroneous operation of the equipment, collects information about the dashboard, pump systems, door electronics, operation of the windshield wiper, air conditioning unit, parktronic, airbag sensors, transmission mechanism, steering rack, control devices and other components. Identifying erroneous signals, the application notifies the diagnostics. Is able to display a list of nodes that have not "provided" information about the operability. This happens due to the absence of any node in the checked car model.

Control mode

It should be recalled that Lexia has long been working for diagnostic purposes of car repair shops and therefore has an old software shell, which is somewhat archaic. But the software is fully russified and seems to be a tidbit for operational work.

Some nuances
