ELMConfig

A software product designed to collect information from the sensors controlling the electronics of Ford vehicles. Works with OBD-P adaptation. It is an algorithmic tool, which is used to check the operability of Ford vehicles and work with their electronic control units.

Serviceability

ELMConfig functionality description:

• Performs a detailed analysis of the data received from the electronic control units of the vehicle subjected to diagnostic operations;
• reads data from the control units and prepares a diagnostic card for the car owner;
• preserves parameters, set configurations by compiling special files in order to restore their data from the archive;
• equipped with the function of reading and saving vehicle codes (VIN code);
• block diagnostics and zeroing with rebooting (if necessary);
• DTC reading with subsequent decoding;
• analysis of module number data, possibility of serial number correction;
• activation of auto-heated glass functions;
• adjustment of IVD/ESP signaling device and car corrector;
• deactivation of washer sensor or car lights;
• creates logical data accompanying the "session" of diagnostic procedures;
• disabling/starting RDS and DDS;
• taking data on the actual kilometer traveled by the car;
• deactivation of the automatic locking system at high speeds.

Diagnostic process and its compatibility

The application is compatible with electric modules on the C1 platform (Kuga, C-Max, Focus). With the help of the application it is possible to interact with units that are connected to the CAN-bus (ACCP, RCP, airbags, climate control, door system and others). Stable operation of the application is impossible without ELM327 adapter. It is necessary to download and install the adapter for this application to work. Recommended for work of experienced diagnosticians with knowledge of systems and electrical equipment of the car.

Some nuances

• the application can be used to diagnose Ford cars;
• for other models - cannot be used;
• ELM327 adapter is required (for stable operation - version 1.3 and later);
• the functionality of the application is quite complex, but is understandable to professionals;
• used in other non-commercial matters, as diagnostics in services is difficult;
• the application is fully russified.
