Qustodio is an Android smartphone app that provides parents with the means to monitor and limit their children's smartphone and internet usage. The app allows parents to track how much time their children spend playing games, social media and other online services. It also provides the ability to block individual apps such as Facebook or YouTube for more granular content access control.

Setup

To start using this tool, you need to launch the app and create an account by providing your email address and choosing a password. Next, you need to link your child's mobile device to your account. To do this, install the utility on your child's device and enable tracking by following the instructions in the app.

Monitoring

The parental controls in this utility allow you to monitor which apps have been launched on your child's smartphone and how much time they have spent in front of the screen. You can get detailed statistics on app usage time in terms of hours, days and months.

Limitations

The utility provides functionality to block access to websites containing objectionable content. You can select categories of sites to block or add addresses manually. In addition, the utility has a screen time limit function, which means that after the set usage time expires, the child's smartphone will be locked. Parents have the ability to track the current location of their children and receive notifications about their movements using this utility. However, it is worth considering that this feature is only available in the paid version of the program.
