MapTiler

MapTiler is the official Android client of the Internet portal of the same name. The application allows you to create your own maps, adding routes, inscriptions and additional content to them.

Catalog

An extensive selection of maps from around the world is available to the user. They are located in the "Catalog" section and are divided by the source of download, for example, Google maps types of maps are different: topographic, vector, navigation and so on. This allows you to quickly find the right map for organizing various trips - from hiking in nature to flying on an airplane. Various design styles are available. You can use monochrome, pastel, light and dark design styles. You can use the name of the area to search. The company actively cooperates with the OpenMapTiles project. This provides the ability to work with a variety of data types including, WebP, JP2, JPEG, Grass, Safe, GeoTIFF and others.

Editor

The set of available tools allows you to form your own routes of different types, as well as add geometrics. To switch to the editing mode, just click on the plus icon located at the bottom of the window. You can add various content to the map. It can be a photo of the current area, a simple text note, there is also an option to highlight a certain area with a different color. When adding a new marker, the current coordinates are automatically determined.
