PodsControl

PodsControl is an Android app that enables the user to use Apple's popular AirPods headphones. The touch actions can be customized, which allows you to conveniently control the device. The interface displays information about the charge level of the case and headphones.

Permissions

While working, the app requires permissions to access notifications, Bluetooth module and geolocation.

Synchronization

Before launching the application, you need to turn on the wireless headphones, as well as the wireless module on your smartphone. The pairing process takes place in automatic mode. If the connection process was successful, the corresponding device will be displayed in the list on the main screen of the program, and the user will have access to the settings.

Display and settings

A separate block appears on the notification panel - the charge of the case, left and right headphones. In the settings, you can change the touch actions (two-touch and four-touch is used). The following control options are available:

• pause and resume;
• previous track;
• next music track.

Operating mode and startup

The developers realized an automatic launch of the application when AirPods connection to the smartphone via Bluetooth protocol is fixed. The rest of the time, the program functions in the background.
