Synaptics Touchpad

Synaptics Touchpad is a Windows application that is an official driver for popular touchpads. It is responsible for general operability, correctness of gesture recognition, testing and calibration function. Separate options are responsible for adjusting the sensitivity of the working surface of the sensor.

Installation

The application is designed for installation on laptops that have this module (it is used today by many brands of different levels). The installation process is standard - just find and run the installation file, specify the directory, and agree to the terms of the license agreement (access to the text of the agreement is provided). After installation, the touchpad is automatically recognized by the OS.

Customization

Once the installation step is complete, you have access to all touchpad settings. You can adjust the speed of the pointer and the sensitivity of the workpad to touch. In some models, advanced functions may be available, such as working with gestures, recognizing multiple touches and customizing buttons. It is possible to forcibly deactivate the module when running certain programs. A tool for automatic calibration of the touch panel is integrated. A separate parameter is responsible for the scroll block.
