HOIC

HOIC is a software for Windows PCs and laptops. The utility is designed to conduct cyberattacks on various web resources. For this purpose, it uses the method of sending an excessive number of requests to the server. With the help of the program, you can check the resistance of a website to this type of attack.

Principle of operation

The main purpose of the utility is to conduct cyberattacks on a specific website. The developers do not recommend using the available functionality to harm third-party Internet resources. The computer program was created only to test their own sites for protection against this type of cyberattacks. If excessive requests are sent from only one source, it can be blocked. As a result, the attack will fail. Therefore, it is advisable to use multiple devices from which to send requests. At least 50 sources are recommended. In this way, the user can check his web resource for stability.

Cyberattack

To start sending requests, you need to specify the address of the domain to be checked. After that, the computer utility will prompt you to select the attack intensity. There are three options: high, medium and low. If desired, the user can attach a file with the same name extension to the utility. This will allow you to manually customize the upcoming attack. A cyberattack can be carried out on up to 256 domains. Depending on the number of resources to be attacked, the number of sources from which redundant requests are sent should be increased.
