Citrix Receiver

The Citrix Receiver utility is aimed at Chromebook owners and allows you to use familiar Windows applications.

Using the program

Users have the opportunity to use, for example, the office suite from Microsoft, which by default is not available on the platform from Google. To do this, just install the utility on the device and select from the list of applications to which you need to access (you can specify several).

Program functionality

The program uses an interface in English, but there are no difficulties in mastering. The basis is an ordinary cloud service, the infrastructure of which is used to run the program that the user needs. All work is done on an external server, only the result of processing a command from the user (for example, creating a new document or table) is downloaded to the user's device. The developers note that recently many malicious programs have been masquerading as this application. One of the main signs is that the main executable file is saved in a directory that is different from Program files.
