JPEG Imager

JPEG Imager is a Windows application that is a pretty handy photo editor. The number of functions is quite large: working with picture resolution, cropping, adjusting brightness and saturation, changing the color scheme, compression and other options. It is possible to select an arbitrary specific area for editing.

Selecting pictures

Before you start working, you need to select the desired file by specifying the path to it in the explorer. All common formats are supported, including JPG, PNG and GIF. It is possible to select several files at once for further batch processing.

Editing

The set of available tools allows you to quickly change the resolution, orientation and canvas size of a photo. Various filters are provided, which allow you to make the photo more interesting. Contrast and other parameters of the graphics can be changed within wide limits.

Compression

One of the most popular functions is effective compression of the original image for publishing on an Internet site or sending in an e-mail. You can immediately specify the desired final size, the built-in algorithm will process the photo with minimal loss. There is also a manual mode, which opens more freedom of action for the user.

Conversion

The application integrates its own module for converting files to another format. It is possible to upload and edit photos directly from cameras. The function of editing metadata and adding your own comments is available.
