File Shredder

File Shredder is a computer utility to completely delete files with sensitive data. The application supports working with images, videos, documents and other types of files. Principle of operation

If you want to delete files from a computer or laptop that contain confidential information, the user should not use the standard method. The fact is that with the usual method of erasing data, they still remain on the media. As a result, it is still possible to recover them using third-party utilities. This utility was designed to completely delete files, so that they are later not subject to recovery by any third-party program. For this purpose, the computer application resorts to the method of repeatedly overwriting the storage area of the deleted file. In this case, a person is allowed to independently specify the required number of repetitions of this process. As a result, the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

File deletion

Once a person turns on the computer program, he or she will need to specify the location of the file that needs to be completely erased from the media. The utility will then offer to select one of the deletion methods and click on the icon that starts the process. The computer utility supports the ability to delete files directly from the system explorer. Also, the user can activate overwriting the free space on the media.
