Description
PingPlotter is a Windows application that allows you to perform a complete check of your current network infrastructure. There is a traceroute function - it records the packet's transit time between all intermediate nodes. After diagnostics, a detailed report containing visual diagrams is displayed. The application can be used to determine the causes of network failures, for example, inaccessibility of a certain device.
Diagnostics
After launching the program, the main panel opens, where you need to specify the endpoint of the route to be tested (name or IP). You can test several different routes simultaneously, in which case they will be divided into convenient tabs for quick access. It is possible to customize the mode of sending packets, for example, change the interval. During the tracing process, all intermediate nodes through which packets pass are displayed in the window. Information about the minimum, maximum and average transit time is also available. The data is displayed in the form of diagrams, which makes it easier to understand the overall picture. It is recommended to deactivate network screens during the process, as they can block transmitted packets.Reports
The collected report can be saved as a file. Both graphical and text formats are supported. In the latter case, the user can choose between TXT and CSV. It is worth considering that the program is paid. When installing it for the first time, a trial period of 14 days is provided. During this period, full functionality is available, but later some of the functions are blocked until the user purchases a license.Features
