YoWindow

YoWindow is a Windows application that allows you to find out the current weather forecast in various cities around the world. All necessary information is provided, including wind strength and humidity. Adobe Flash Player is required for correct operation. In the settings you can select the display mode and specify the city.

Visualization

The main feature of the application is elaborate animation for visualizing weather and natural phenomena. The elements correspond to the current natural phenomena. It is possible to activate visualization for several days in advance. For large cities, you can upload real photos.

Forecast

After selecting a settlement, you can view the forecast for a week ahead. The panel contains the following dаta:

• wind direction and strength;
• temperature;
• precipitation probability;
• air humidity;
• the exact time of sunset and sunrise;
• atmospheric pressure;
• cloudiness.

The required units of measurement can be specified in the settings. The application adds its own informative icon to the notification panel. Pressing it opens the main program window.

Support

It should be borne in mind that after Adobe decided to abandon further use of the Flash Player the developers decided not to support the program. This is based on the fact that this module was actively used by the program to work with animation. Current circumstances require a large-scale update. At the time of publication of the review, there was no information about the resumption of the project.
