RVi Operator

RVi application allows you to manage remote video surveillance cameras. After installation, an automatic network scan is launched, after which a list of available servers is displayed. It is possible to combine individual elements into a common system, using the program as a central hub for control.

Installation and operation

After installation, you can immediately go to the configuration. To edit the server, you need to go to the main menu and open the corresponding item. Provision is made for creating and saving your own configuration. Searching for available servers can be performed in two modes - manual and automatic. Selection can also be made through the main menu. A structured help section is provided, which can be referred to in case of difficulties. All available functions and features of working with the software platform are described. General recommendations for work are given.

Connecting the server to the configuration

In the main menu, select the Servers and Clients section and click the Add button. The application will start analyzing the network and display the list of currently available servers, workstations and other data. All information is displayed in a convenient form. Select the required server and press the Add button. The name of the configuration can be changed at any time. To apply the changes, you should press the Apply button. The platform supports all modern codecs, including H.265. RTSP and SDK technologies are also used. This allows you to provide high quality images, regardless of the type of channel.
