RECentral

RECentral is a Windows computer utility that allows users to broadcast live streams. You can select the number of frames per second, the source used for broadcasting and much more. The functionality of the program will be useful, including for streaming games.

Getting started

To use the utility, you need to connect AVerMedia's special hardware to your PC or laptop. Namely a capture card, which can be used to broadcast images not only from a PC, but also from game consoles from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. In addition, the user will need a microphone. If desired, you can connect a webcam.

Program functionality

In the main menu of the computer application, the user will find several recording options:

• Professional;
• Amateur;
• Beginner.

If you select the "Beginner" mode, the utility will independently determine the optimal parameters for recording and live broadcasting. The other options imply manual configuration. The difference is that the "Professional" mode allows you to adjust the parameters to yourself in more detail. When creating a video recording, the program is able to automatically calculate the maximum length of the clip based on the unused space in the internal memory of the device. The user is allowed to control the recording by means of hotkeys. They can be configured in the parameters of the computer utility. Before starting a live broadcast, a person can choose the platform on which the broadcast will be received. For example, Twitch or Trovo.
