Cain Abel

Cain Abel is a Windows application that allows you to recover various passwords. You can recover passwords from an Internet resource, login, wireless network and others. It uses a modern sniffer for interception and decryption algorithm. This allows you to noticeably increase the recovery efficiency. It is possible to retrieve keys that are stored in encrypted form. Network traffic scanning mode is also available to intercept information.

Password Search

To obtain full functionality it is necessary to pre-install the WinPcap module. Then you need to launch the program and select the password type. The program supports passwords for access to databases, e-mail, website and others. In most cases, such information is stored in encrypted form. The program includes tools for decoding after extracting the required data. Classic bruteforce and rainbow tables are used for selection. The time of obtaining the initial password depends on its complexity and PC performance. Found keys can be quickly exported to a file or copied to the clipboard. A mode of sorting search results by various parameters is also supported. This allows you to find the necessary record in the obtained sample faster, the number of strings can be quite large.

Network analysis

Another module of the program provides traffic interception, wireless and wired networks are supported. It is enough to select the required adapter in the parameters, start scanning and wait for the result. There is a built-in packet analyzer that allows you to both view the content and edit it.
