Smart Install Maker

Smart Install Maker is a Windows application for self-creating installers to facilitate the installation of programs. You can use variables, integrate additional controls and dialogs. It is possible to modify the system registry to customize associations and create new shortcuts (e.g. on the desktop).

Parameter selection

Beforehand, it is necessary to perform the initial configuration of the installer. It is also possible to specify the developer's website, the current version, the full name and so on. Next, you need to select the installation files that will be included in the final assembly. It is possible to check if the .NET Framework package is present in the system. If the component is missing, you can issue a corresponding notification and provide a link to the official site for downloading. The available functionality allows you to forcibly close all currently active programs, which facilitates installation. The program has access to editing INI files and the system registry. The ability to install additional fonts, download and automatically register DLLs is implemented. This allows you to extend the functionality of the application by connecting third-party libraries.

Compilation

After specifying all settings, you should start compilation of the new installation file. You can add an additional window for language selection from a drop-down list. The function of splitting the image into several parts with the required parameters is supported.
