Gramps

The Gramps application is suitable for the Windows operating system. With its help, you can create a genealogical tree that allows you to track the history of all relatives. The user can enter such information as residential address, education and other important details into the database. It is also possible to create an album of photos with a viewing function. The utility used, just like GenoPro, allows you to export information regardless of the format.

Database

After the first launch of the application, you can proceed to create a tree. To do this, you need to specify a number of information. First of all, the following information is added:

• surname, first name, patronymic;
• gender of the relative;
• date of birth with an indication of the place;
• current address.

Additional information is added as desired. It is also possible to mark the connection between the specified relatives. For the address of residence, the function of marking on maps is available. The functionality of the program allows you to write comments, quotes, add links.

Albums

The main functions include compiling an album of photos. The user opens the desired tab and adds photos, documents and other files of interest. Items can be sorted.

Export

When the family database is finished, you can see the family relationships in the form of a family tree. XML extension is available for saving and image export is also available.
