ArcView GIS

ArcView GIS is a professional program for working with geographic data. It is possible to save information for its further analysis. The functionality of the utility can be used for spatial planning, real estate registry, land management and so on. For the correct work of the program you need a computer or laptop running Windows XP or newer.

Utility functionality

The program was developed for professional work with cartographic data. Among other things, the utility provides the ability to divide the information on the map by different layers, modify existing objects and much more. To work with maps, the program gives the user access to several modules. One of them is responsible for changing properties and characteristics. The others allow you to work with time, space and a number of other parameters.

Formats and interface

The computer utility is able to work with many types of data in their original form without conversion. This allows the user to open files with vector data, including MAP, SXF and TAB. Raster data is also supported, including PNG, JPEG, IMG, RSW, MTV, TIFF and so on. In some situations the user may need files with information received via the Internet, such as WMTS and WMS. The utility also supports them. The utility allows you to choose between several interface variations. There are two variants available to the user: ribbon and classic. The first one is similar in structure to the Microsoft Word interface. The second allows you to display more elements on the screen. But a user unfamiliar with the utility, it will be more difficult to understand the available tools.
