Aircrack

Aircrack is a software for testing Wi-Fi hotspot security. There is functionality to test the resistance of a wireless network to hacker attacks, security code selection, Internet traffic interception and other threats. Some options of the utility can be activated exclusively through the command line. The interface of the program has no localization in Russian. The user must have a device based on at least Windows XP to run the utility correctly.

Password cracking

The computer program provides a toolkit by means of which a person can check the reliability of the installed password. To do this, the utility allows you to crack the security code by bruteforcing it. This option can be used if the router under test supports one of the two security protocols: WPA or WEP. Thanks to this function the user can learn about the speed with which the security code can be found. If the password is cracked very quickly, the person should change it to a more difficult one.

Security testing

By means of the computer program a person is able to check the protection of the tested wireless network by means of special tools for interception of Internet traffic and its spoofing. In the process of using this function, the user will see statistics on the success of the access point hacking process. If desired, the user can try redirecting information through an additional node. This allows you to increase the reliability of Internet traffic protection.
