ABBYY Lingvo is a Windows application that is a translator. It supports a large number of languages and does not require Internet access. You can quickly learn the meanings of words and read articles. There is a function of contextual translation. If necessary, you can download additional dictionaries.

After launching the program, you need to select languages and specify the direction of translation. Then you need to enter the original phrase into a special form. The application contains a large number of specialized dictionaries - legal, technology and so on. Additionally, you can open articles with examples of the word usage. There is an integrated mode of sounding out words, which allows you to learn the correct pronunciation. The history of queries is saved on a separate panel.
