Update Service

The Update Service application is required for all owners of Sony Ericsson cell phones. It is used to perform the firmware update procedure and search for new available versions, if any. The automatic operation allows anyone to use all the features without much difficulty.

Connection

To begin with, you need to connect the cell phone on which the new firmware version will be installed. To do this, simply connect the device to the computer via a USB cable. No pre-settings are required. Once connected, in the application you need to select the model of the smartphone that needs to be updated.

Update

Before starting the update, make sure that the battery is at least 50 percent charged. In case of a full discharge, you will have to roll the new firmware from 0, which takes much more time. After that, you can start the process of automatic download of a new firmware version. The program independently finds the latest version, and then begins the installation process. Note that before doing so, you should create a backup copy of all your data, which can also be done with the help of Update Service. Since the program is not supported by the developer, some errors may occur in its operation. But you shouldn't worry about them, because any problem during the firmware update will start the process of automatic rollback to the previous version. This will level out all possible problems.
