Mhotspot

Mhotspot is a free tool for Windows devices that allows you to turn your laptop or desktop computer into an Internet distribution point. The functionality available in the application allows you to specify a password and network name. Through the program you can monitor the number of connected users, the amount of received and sent information and so on. To use the utility, you need to attach a Wi-Fi adapter to the device.

Access point

Before using the utility, the user should know that he will need a Wi-Fi adapter. If there is one, the user will be able to turn on the program and start setting up the network. During this process, the application requires you to specify the name of the access point, as well as the password. When entering the code for connection, the user can use any characters and different cases. The minimum allowed password size is eight characters. The next stage of configuration is to determine the maximum number of allowed network users. When a person specifies the desired value, which should not exceed 10, he will only have to wait for the completion of the process of creating a Wi-Fi point. As a result, the user will get his own network, and other people will be able to connect to it.

Additional features

A person is able to keep track of some information about the network they have created. For example, the user can see the number of people connected to the access point. In addition, the computer utility shows information about the speed of receiving and transferring files, as well as the total size of data that has passed through the network. The user can go to the settings of the utility and enable alerts that will notify you when a new device joins the network.
