Cacheman

Cacheman is a Windows application that allows you to free up some RAM using a user-friendly interface. In many cases, this can significantly speed up the performance of a PC, especially one with a relatively weak configuration. It is possible to create individual profiles for optimization. There is also a built-in module for monitoring the swap file operation mode and CPU cores utilization. From the interface, you can launch a command line to launch regular system tools. This allows, for example, to immediately start checking the drive for errors.

Optimization

After starting the application, a panel with a list of active processes is displayed. The data is displayed in the form of a convenient table with all the necessary information, including the file location and the level of impact on the system. There is an automatic optimization mode, which is recommended for inexperienced users. There is a set of ready-made profiles that make the work easier. For example, you can reduce performance to extend battery life or switch to the maximum power mode before launching a game that is demanding on resources.

Management and monitoring

The application allows you to force a specific process to be assigned to a selected CPU core. These settings are retained even after the computer restarts. An additional panel allows you to set priorities for certain components. There is a function of diagnostics of the current state of RAM. This will allow you to promptly record the occurrence of problems and promptly take action.
