Synfig Studio

Synfig Studio application allows you to create vector graphics and 2D animation. All necessary functions and tools for creating short cartoons are provided.

Using the program

Users even without serious skills can create complex vector graphics and animation on their own. The tools available for this are located in the main menu. Support for working with layers is provided, which makes it easier to work with complex scenes. In this mode, you can quickly disable unnecessary layers. Control points and reference frames are used to create animation. At the same time, all intermediate actions are formed automatically by the algorithm. There is a function of smoothing movements, which allows you to make them more natural. This eliminates the need to manually create all the frames of animation, which significantly reduces the time of work on the project. In most cases, animation involves relatively simple and repetitive movements.

Functions and features

It is possible to add various lighting effects, for this purpose the High Dynamic-Range function is used. Intermediate stages of work on the project the program saves in SIF format, adding XML markup. After completion, the clip can be saved in MPEG or AVI format. This format is recognized by all video players. There is a help section with a description of the functionality. This will allow you to quickly get acquainted with the program and get to work.
