NVDA

NVD A-Windows application for sounding out on-screen text. It recognizes not only classic text, but also diagrams, tables and complex formulas. It supports integration with a large number of applications - email clients, office suites, messengers and so on. The platform is oriented for visually impaired people, who get the opportunity to read documents or incoming messages.

Voice

The program uses a built-in speech synthesizer e Speak, which allows you to qualitatively recognize an element and voice it. The application is able to obtain all the necessary information about the screen element, for this purpose, the API of special features is used. This tool is initially integrated into the system and provides the necessary functionality. This ensures fast operation and correct recognition. The collected data is processed to highlight objects that need to be voiced. Additional modules are also provided. Support for Braille displays that are capable of displaying convex characters is built in.

Customization

You can flexibly customize the text playback mode in the settings. Profiles are supported and can be used if several users are working at the PC. You can change the speed, intonation, voice pitch. A separate option allows you to activate the cursor backlighting mode. It is possible to activate additional sound alerts at the moment of capturing a new screen object. This allows the user to better orient himself in what is happening on the screen.
