Starus Photo Recovery

Starus Photo Recovery is a Windows application for recovering deleted images on your own. All common storage devices and file types are supported. A set of filters is provided to search for specific files.

Search criteria

When you launch the program, the main panel opens, where you need to select a drive, partition or a specific directory to search for files. It is also possible to connect digital cameras and memory cards. Next, you need to configure the search parameters. You can specify the file size, date or extension. For large drives, this allows you to reduce the search time and get the right set of images. Two modes of operation are available - fast scanning and in-depth scanning. The first option is suitable if the files have been deleted recently. For more complicated cases, the second mode is suitable, which takes much more time, but also increases the probability of returning the file in its original form. All sectors of the selected disk are checked.

Recovery

After selecting the required parameters, activate the scan and wait for the completion message. After that, a list of all found files will be displayed on the screen. You can use sorting by various parameters for additional search through the selection. There is a preview panel to check the file. Next, you need to select all the desired images, select the save directory and start saving. It is important to save files to another disk to avoid overwriting data. The function of creating an archive and sending data to a remote server via the FTP protocol is implemented.
