IsoBuster

IsoBuster is a Windows application for recovering corrupted files. It supports scanning of hard disks, optical drives, memory cards and flash drives. The checksum checker is built-in. The main feature of the program is the ability to work with optical disks. Direct access to the drive bypassing the system is used.

Scanning

After opening the program, you need to select a disk or a specific directory for further scanning. Information about all detected partitions and files will be displayed. It is possible to specify the items to be saved. A separate list of data with errors detected in the reading process can be displayed. The current scan can be saved as a file, allowing you to return to it later. A digital signature verification function is built in.

Validation

The application allows you to check the integrity of a specified set of files. The feature allows you to identify files that have been corrupted or modified during the transfer process. You can use it to check important documents for authenticity. While working with CDs, it is possible to access at the physical level (reading raw data). In some cases, this allows you to retrieve information that is not read normally.

Images

Built-in module for creating optical disk images. All current formats are supported, including ISO, DAO and BIN. Creates an exact copy of the drive that can be used for further recording.
