WinISO

WinISO is a Windows application that allows you to convert disk images. There is a function to mount disks. In the process, you can choose between ISO9660 and Joliet standards.

Usage

After launching the application, you will be prompted to select the file to be modified. Further work is carried out in step-by-step wizard mode. The editor allows you to extract data or rename the file. It is possible to extract the content completely to a specified folder.

You can work with BIN and ISO formats. The converter allows you to convert one format to another in any direction. It is possible to edit files without removing them from the container. For this purpose, a convenient file manager is used, which allows you to navigate through the directory structure to the desired files. A module for mounting images is provided. This functionality will be useful if your PC does not have a physical drive for optical disks. After adding a new image, it will be displayed together with other disks of the operating system. Standard operations are available - open, start, eject. When opened, the contents are displayed in a standard explorer through which you can navigate and open files. If the disk has a name that is too long, the application will automatically shorten it to the correct size. This will avoid errors, as some applications have limitations on this parameter.
