Wavosaur

Wavosaur is a unique program for Windows, with which you can edit reproduced sounds and melodies in detail. The music editor offers a whole range of features: recording of songs and their subsequent processing, a full set of tools for editing already finished audio recordings. In addition, the application supports VST plug-ins.

How to use the program

To use the application, you do not need to install it on your computer, just download and run it. Immediately after launching you can get to work, for editing audio recordings you need to select the appropriate one on your computer. The program supports almost all music formats, among which are: WAV, MP3 and others.

Processing audio files

The program allows you to edit already finished audio files by: copying and pasting sections of the composition, adding special effects, enhancing or reducing the volume of the sound of the entire track or on individual sections. The program also allows you to create "music loops" - a looped audio recording. The utility supports connecting an external microphone and recording audio tracks through it. With the help of built-in filters, you can change the overall sound quality and a certain range of frequencies.

Analyzing audio files

The application has a built-in toolkit that allows you to perform detailed analysis of audio recordings: performing spectral analysis of a track, viewing the frequency graph. For convenience, users can scale the obtained information and, if necessary, save it as a separate file.
