Naver Papago

Naver Papago is an Android application for text translation, 13 languages supported. Built-in dictionaries and additional cards for learning. Supports handwriting, voice input, text recognition from images. The work is done in real time.

Permissions

For the full operation of the program, you need to provide a number of permissions in advance. Access to the microphone and camera is required for sending voice messages and sending images with text.

Translation

The main menu allows you to immediately select the source language, for this purpose a convenient drop-down list is used. You can translate dialogs, enter text manually or recognize text from images. In the latter case it is enough to take a picture with the camera. You can also use handwriting and virtual keyboard. Recognition of Internet pages is supported; to download them, you need to insert the link into a special field. You can translate interface elements and published materials. High speed of work is provided. A separate function allows you to recognize text in third-party applications. All necessary components are correctly detected.

Cards and dictionary

A dictionary is integrated, which allows you to learn additional information about a word. You can see pronunciation, examples and usage. A set of cards can be downloaded separately for self-study of words. This mode provides quick memorization, can be used to consolidate the material. Offline mode is implemented, which allows you to work offline.
