BIMx

BIMx is an application for Android devices that allows you to view files created in the program ARCHICAD the utility is installed on a smartphone and allows you to work with facades, plans, sections and other documentation. Viewing in 2D and 3D is available. BIMx application is a development of GRAPHISOFT company, designed specifically for Android gadgets. With its help users can open, view and print files created in the ARCHICAD program. The output of a list of all documents that can be read by the utility is supported. In order to see the project in all details, animation is provided.

Projects

The utility is completely free and is available for use without registration. By opening BIMx, the user can download a document from the gadget's memory or from the cloud. Files are synchronized with popular storages, including Google Drive. The list of available facades, plans, sections and drawings is displayed on the screen. The user can select and open any file and then view it in 3D by enabling animation. To navigate inside and outside the building, a pointer is used. The app also has a feature to measure distances from one point to another.

Viewing and printing

The BIMx app allows you to open and view files and send them to print. To print a file, you need a printer connected to the gadget. You can set the scale you want. Unlike AutoCAD, the BIMx utility does not provide the ability to make changes and leave comments.
