BlueDUN

The BlueDUN program for Android smartphones emulates a hardware modem. You can use it to turn your smartphone into a hotspot for accessing the Internet.

Setup

To use the utility, you need to turn on Bluetooth. Then it will start scanning the network to find available gadgets in the vicinity. You should select the required equipment in the list and make the connection.

Modem function

The application provides an opportunity to use your smartphone as a modem and share with other devices a connection to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. The program allows you to distribute internet to mobile gadgets. The supported protocols include UDP and TCP. Before connecting, users can check the quality of the connection. The application is also available in autorun mode after the OS startup. There is a function of recording events in log files. With its help it is possible to determine the causes of errors occurring during connection and eliminate them. Users have an opportunity to establish a connection with the utility developer and send log files to him. It should be noted that in the demo version of the application the maximum duration of a connection session is five minutes. To resume the connection, it is necessary to manually restart the service.
