AdLock

AdLock is an Android application for blocking ad units and protection from tracking. It cuts out advertising modules of different types - banners, pop-ups and others. No root privileges are required for operation.

Blocking

The utility effectively removes advertising from any site. Separately, you can configure filters and make a list of sites on which ads will be displayed. Templates for specifying the required resources are supported. It is possible to quickly add an item to an exception if its display is necessary in a given situation. A separate tab displays the current statistics of work. The total number of blocked modules and the amount of saved traffic are shown. It allows you to evaluate the efficiency of the program.

Protection

A full-featured malware search module is built in. The system can be fully scanned, and it supports background operation. After scanning, a full list of detected threats with a description is displayed. After user confirmation, all dangerous objects are removed. Opened sites are also checked and a notification is displayed in case of a potential threat. Today, it is not uncommon to find sites that are specifically designed to spread malicious code, so protection against this type of attack is always relevant. The ability to block online trackers on pages is integrated. These modules are often built into sites to collect information about users.
