TextToBand

TextToBand is a free Android utility that can send text messages to Xiaomi fitness trackers. Thanks to this, users are able to communicate through the wrist-worn devices.

Beginning of use

This utility was created for a specific model of fitness trackers called Mi Band 4 from Xiaomi. Nevertheless, the user is able to use the functionality of the software on other wristworn devices. To start using the program, the user must download the Mi Fit application and in it to synchronize with his wrist-worn gadget. After that, a person will need to open the settings and allow the TextToBand program to send notifications to the fitness tracker. From this moment it will be possible to use the functions of the utility.

Sending messages

You can use the mobile utility to write text messages and then send them to your fitness tracker. It should be noted that the volume of text in the messages sent should not exceed 368 characters. It should also be taken into account that not all models of wrist devices will be able to display the entire message. Therefore, the first thing a user should do is to test this function by checking the allowable text volume for the fitness bracelet being used. The capabilities of the mobile program can be useful for sending reminders about important events or secret communication with another person. For example, the user can send hints to a friend sitting in an exam. At the same time, the program has no restriction on the distance between the portable device and the fitness tracker.
