R4S Gateway

R4S Gateway is a special software for controlling smart appliances. The program is an official development of Redmond and works only with appliances of this manufacturer. It is a prerequisite that you have another application - Ready For Sky the software functions only in tandem with this client.

General description

The program is designed to control smart appliances from the company Redmond, connected to the home network. The same application "Ready For Sky" performs similar tasks. But there is a significant difference between the two programs. Ready For Sky works within range of the Wi-Fi module and is useless outside of it. R4S Gateway has a much more independent principle of operation and controls the equipment through the World Wide Web. It is very convenient if you forgot to turn off the device and left the house, and you have no possibility to come back. Then it is enough to establish a stable Internet connection and in the program on your phone to turn off a particular device.

Functionality

Remote access and control of Redmond smart appliances can be realized using a portable Android device. To do this, you need to install R4S Gateway on your home appliance. You can send commands on the road, traveling, work and anywhere else. The smart system will receive remote signals and perform the owner's errands. So, for example, the user can turn on the air conditioner a few hours before arrival. The house will be pre-cooled/warmed by the time they return, which is especially important in summer/winter. If you have a Redmond multicooker, put in the ingredients before leaving for work. At work, calculate the time and activate the desired cooking mode in the app. If you do everything correctly, then at home you will be waiting for a freshly cooked and delicious dinner. Such manipulations are also suitable for other appliances of the manufacturer.

To work with the application you need to register in the system, authorize and put a password.
