Samsung Recovery Solution

Samsung Recovery Solution is a proprietary program designed to create "backups" of the operating system. Archived images of OS Windows are suitable for "rolling back" the computer to the working mode. You do not need to reinstall the "system" if you encounter a device failure. The program works only on Samsung laptops. SRS works on a technology that is similar to the "backups" utility for Windows OS. The standard system recovery tool is less functional, because SRS saves "registry keys" and creates an "archive config" with OS Windows image settings. Samsung Recovery Solution is not designed to create "backups" for other brands of notebooks.

Operating modes

The program is equipped with three modes of operation. Using this utility, you will restore the system from the image. After that, there will be no information in the system that was saved after creating the backup. If necessary, you can use the recovery mode by parts. In this mode, the profile information will be preserved, but some files in the system will be partially restored. After restoring information using this method, you may not see all the files, and the system sometimes works unstable. There is also a third mode that resets the mobile device to "default" configurations. This tool "resets" the software part of the laptop to the factory state. Using this method, you will return it to the "after unpacking" state. In this case, the software returns BIOS settings, formats the hard disk and installs Windows OS from scratch.
