MacroDroid

MacroDroid is a specially created application that works only on devices with Android embedded system. The utility is designed as a scheduler for various tasks. For example, the user can create a task to turn off the power at a certain time.

Creating a macro

After installing the application, the user can start creating a macro: importing a task from a file or creating a new task. The created macro contains three tabs:

• Restrictions;
• Triggers;
• Actions.

Triggers act as task conditions. They record the current location, time, action of a certain button or gesture. There is also a function to activate a macro at an incoming call or sms. Actions are needed to set the action of the task, which will be executed for example automatic sending of messages, reply to sms, disable or enable wireless network. Restrictions are also one of the main functions of the application. They allow you to restrict a certain running task or a certain action of a set task.

Ready macros

For user convenience, the system memorizes already used macros and collects them in one section "Templates". In this section the user can choose a suitable template and use it for his/her tasks. The user can also create several macros by himself and add them to the public section.
