Mi Drone is a program for Android devices that allows you to control Xiaomi-branded drones and handheld cameras.

Connection

Initially, the user must supply power to the radio control system, which is done with a special button. Then there is the activation of the drone itself and connection to it. Communication between the mobile gadget and the drone is carried out through a Wi-Fi connection or a USB wire. Connection to the portable camera, which is located on the drone, is done separately. In this case, only Wi-Fi connection is available. To connect, you need to find the camera in the list of wireless connection settings - the first part of its name is FMGH, then comes a special number for identification. The password is most often of the standard type - consecutive digits from 1 to 9 inclusive. It is worth noting that the stability of the wireless connection is observed only within a radius of 100 meters from the user, and the aircraft here should not go beyond an altitude of more than 50 meters.

Capabilities

This program opens up a wide range of possibilities for users to adjust the settings for shooting from the aircraft camera and to view the transmitted picture without delays. Flight control and a map of the surrounding area are available. In addition to this, users have the ability to set a password for the drone to take off, thereby limiting access to the use of the device by third parties. There is also a special button to return the drone to its original location.
