Google Lens

Google Lens is an Android utility for processing objects in photos taken with a smartphone camera. The algorithm is able to select objects in the photo to search for analogs in the network, recognize text and much more. There is a function to identify plants and animals. You can work with a shopping list by simply scanning barcodes on packages - the product information will be automatically downloaded to adjust the list.

Scanning

Integration with Google Translate allows you to take a photo of a sign or instruction manual in another language and get an instant translation. Similarly, you can recognize unfamiliar characters in other images. The utility can be used to scan documents. The resulting text can be copied to the clipboard or saved to a file in the device memory. Another useful function is to quickly add contacts by taking a photo of business cards. The application recognizes first name, last name, contact details, additional information and will correctly save them to the phonebook of the smartphone.

It is possible to search the network for information about objects. It is enough to take a corresponding photo to upload the data to Google Lens. You can find out various information about birds, an unfamiliar plant, a cultural object, a landmark, an animal and much more.
