Description
A modern operating system must be able to easily access web pages and other content. Since the earliest versions of Android, its standard installation package has included a special system library that serves this purpose. This system utility (aka library) called Android WebVeiw, allows you to access web content not only from browsers, but also by interacting with it from other programs. The standardization of installation in the mobile OS contributes to its stable and productive operation. However, in practice, there are times when a user ineptly using administrator rights (ROTT) performs actions that lead to blocking or deleting the standard library of functions. For example, this can happen when using alternative file management programs or other application managers. In addition, inexperienced users unknowingly simply delete the utility as a result of flashing the portable device. It is for these reasons Google strongly recommends to use the standard library to constantly update it, that is, to make an "update" of the component base of the OS. The timeliness of these actions helps to improve the performance and security of the OS when loading web content into its environment.
Peculiarities of library work
As you know library is a mechanism of interaction with the OS with web content. However, its main purpose is to provide this mechanism when working with applications that are not specialized viewers (browsers). A typical example, a topographic program or game that mostly needs to access the web on a regular basis. A possible option, but it is not always productive because it consumes more OS resources and your time, is to minimize these programs to get the content you need on the site through a web browser. Just in this situation, the Android WebWiev system library reduces this path to a minimum. It will immediately provide a web page with the desired content directly to the active application, such as a new map of the area. If the application initiating the request fails to get the new content, the OS sends it an error message and it stops working. There are two ways to fix the problem:- By installing the missing component on Play Market;
- By using the APK file downloaded from the link on the Google store software sales site.
About library compatibility
It is universal, that is, it works in all versions of this OS and if you find an error during a new installation, it is probably already installed.Download Android WebView
