Solar Walk

Solar Walk is an Android program that provides access to a detailed atlas of the solar system and several other areas of the universe. The content is detailed and the work is interactive. You can make virtual journeys between planets, viewing them from different angles and getting basic information in text form. It should be taken into account that the use of graphics takes quite a lot of space on the device.

Accurate model

The atlas is based on the most accurate three-dimensional model of the universe, which includes the rest of the objects - stars, comets, planets and open asteroids. The developers tried to observe all the proportions and distances between individual objects, based on official sources. At the same time, most of the objects can be viewed from a close distance, activating the necessary zoom. At the same time, the model is dynamic - the planets move along their orbits in real time. In the process of work, the application requests the current time, after which it forms the layout of all objects.

Calendar of events

A separate section is an astronomical calendar, in which all the main events are marked. You can learn about eclipses, rocket launches, parades of planets, approaching asteroids and much more.
