Soyle

The Soyle application is designed for learning Kazakh language on Android devices. It contains lessons that help to develop pronunciation, memorize words and master the rules of grammar.

Methodology

To get access to the full functionality of the application, you need to go through the registration procedure. It allows you to save words in your own dictionary, practice and mark topics already learned. This app uses a comprehensive learning method similar to the Qonzhyq program. You are given the opportunity to learn through cards, audio recordings with correct pronunciation, and video lessons. Additional educational materials are also available. The utility provides lessons divided into different levels of Kazakh language proficiency, from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2). Each lesson includes a set of studied words with translations into Russian or English, and is accompanied by audio recordings, photos and exercises for better memorization of the material. In addition, the application has an interactive section with mini-games, dialogs and videos. After successfully completing a lesson, the user can tick it off.

Vocabulary

The app provides the ability to learn words on a variety of topics including weather, time, materials, plants, human and more. Dictionaries with different parts of speech such as verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, numerals, and service words are also available. The app also provides phrases to better understand the context and use words in conversation. Within the app, you have the ability to familiarize yourself with the pronunciation of words, as well as add them to your personal dictionary for easier access. In addition, the utility offers a variety of exercises and drills that help you memorize new expressions and words more effectively.
