HyperTerminal

HyperTerminal is a Windows application that allows you to organize connection with remote devices and various services. It supports telnet protocol, provides the ability to quickly send files and control commands.

Connection

Initially it is necessary to select the port to which the external modem is connected, then it is necessary to enter the correct phone number (the city code is also specified). Manual adjustment of the data transmission speed is provided. Parameters allow you to create several connections by selecting a personal icon for each. Standard parallel port can be used for connection, TCP protocol is also supported. It should be taken into account that to access the necessary settings, the program must be initially launched with administrator privileges. Connection via the secure SSH protocol is supported.

Management

The application interface allows you to manage remote printers, PCs and other devices that support this mode. It is possible to send and receive files. Work with macros is supported, which allows you to automate routine tasks and form quite complex work scenarios. All network activity is saved in a special log, and the user can access it at any time.
